An online consultation on a web based platform has limitations and is not always a good substitute for a direct “in person” visit to the clinic . It may be sufficient for an initial preliminary consultation or during the course of periodic followups. It is not ideal when the diagnosis is uncertain, or when further tests are required for a complete diagnosis.
